1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using VPSniper ("the app"), developed by VibePiper (a DBA of Chris DRT LLC), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use VPSniper. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Description of Service

VPSniper is an asset management scanner application that connects to your organization's Snipe-IT inventory management server. The app enables you to scan barcodes, look up asset information, perform check-in/check-out/audit operations, and print asset labels to Bluetooth-connected Phomemo printers — all from an Android mobile device, with optimization for Zebra enterprise devices.

4. Account & Security

• You are responsible for keeping your Snipe-IT credentials (server URL, API key) secure.
• You are responsible for all activity performed through the app using your credentials.
• You must notify your Snipe-IT administrator of any unauthorized use of your API key.
• Do not share your API key or allow others to use the app with your credentials.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the app for any illegal purposes.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Snipe-IT servers or data you are not permitted to view.
• Use the app to tamper with, corrupt, or destroy inventory data.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Remove or modify any copyright or proprietary notices.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the app or related services.
• Use the app to create fraudulent asset records or misrepresent inventory status.

6. Third-Party Services

VPSniper connects to Snipe-IT, a third-party open-source asset management platform. Your use of Snipe-IT is subject to your organization's policies and Snipe-IT's own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, data handling, or policies of Snipe-IT or any other third-party service.

7. On-Premise Connectivity

VPSniper connects directly to your organization's Snipe-IT server, which may be hosted on-premise or in the cloud. You and your organization are solely responsible for:

• The security and availability of your Snipe-IT server.
• Configuring appropriate access controls and API permissions.
• Maintaining HTTPS/TLS encryption on your server (recommended).
• Backing up your Snipe-IT data.
• Compliance with your organization's data handling and security policies.

8. Privacy

Your use is governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• All data stays on your device and your Snipe-IT server — we do not collect or store your data.
• We do not sell your data.
• The app displays advertisements via Google AdMob. You may remove ads through a one-time in-app purchase.

9. Intellectual Property

• VPSniper and its content are protected by copyright.
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute without permission.
• VPSniper is a trademark of Chris DRT LLC, doing business as VibePiper.
• Snipe-IT is a trademark of Grokability, Inc. VPSniper is not affiliated with or endorsed by Grokability, Inc.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• Compatibility with all Snipe-IT server configurations or versions.
• Accuracy of data retrieved from your Snipe-IT server.
• Successful printing to all Bluetooth printer models.
• Suitability for any particular purpose or regulatory requirement.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHRIS DRT LLC (DBA VIBEPIPER), ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• Loss or corruption of inventory data.
• Incorrect asset operations (check-in, check-out, audit) resulting from app use.
• Connectivity failures between the app and your Snipe-IT server.
• Actions of other users with access to your Snipe-IT instance.
• Loss of data, revenue, or profits.
• Damages arising from use or inability to use the service.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification & Hold Harmless

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chris DRT LLC (DBA VibePiper), its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of the app.
• Your violation of these terms.
• Your violation of any third-party rights.
• Unauthorized access to or modification of inventory data through your credentials.
• Any asset management errors resulting from your use of the app.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the app, which removes all locally stored data.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect changes.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiation.
• Binding arbitration (for individual claims).
• Courts in Indiana (for claims not subject to arbitration).

You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

16. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Chris DRT LLC (DBA VibePiper) regarding this app.
